Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No, the state of Virginia allows for you to be seen for 30 business days without a prescription. If treatment continues beyond 30 days, a prescription will be required.
Do you take insurance?
Erin Chapman is an out of network provider for all insurances except for medicare. However, upon request, you can receive a superbill which can be provided to your insurance company for reimbursement. There is no guarantee to what extent you will be reimbursed.
What if I have medicare?
Medicare will be billed for services rendered and you will be responsible for a small co-pay.
Can I use my HSA of FSA?
Yes, you can use your health savings account of flexible spending account to cover your charges.
Why should I go to an out of network provider?
Removing the restrictions of insurances can allow for better quality care. With concierge care you will not be handed off for treatment to an aide or a tech and will be under the direct supervision of a licensed PT at all times. This can allow for a faster recovery time. It may take more sessions to reach your goals in a clinic setting, and your co-pays may well add up to more than what you will pay for concierge care. You will never receive a surprise bill for treatments not covered or denied approval for medical necessity.
